Free is not a discount here, it is the architecture.
Cloud dictation costs a company money every time you speak, so a free tier has to be rationed. Fastspoken's free plan runs on your own chip. Your words cost us nothing, so there is nothing to ration: no cap, no counter, no card. The typing is free because it runs on your machine, which is the same reason nothing you say leaves it.
Offline is the default, not a mode.
