Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. It runs on your own device, so your words cost us nothing to type and there is no server bill for us to pass on. That is also why nothing you say leaves your machine. No trial countdown, no weekly word cap, no account needed.
What exactly does Pro add?
Free types exactly what you said. Pro finishes it, so the ramble you spoke into a reply lands as the message you meant, with the self-corrections and filler already gone. Pro also syncs your dictionary between devices, end-to-end encrypted, and puts you first in line for Command as it rolls out. Shaping words like that takes a model bigger than a phone can hold, which is the only reason any of it costs anything.
How does billing work?
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription through Stripe. There are no word caps on either plan. Cancel anytime; you keep Pro until the period ends.
Do I give up privacy by paying?
No. On Pro the dictation still happens on your device, exactly as it does on Free, and your audio never leaves it. Only the finished text goes to our server to be shaped, and it is discarded the moment it comes back. Your dictionary syncs as ciphertext we cannot open.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days of a charge, no questions asked. Manage everything from the Stripe billing portal linked in the app.
