Why do spoken prompts get better answers than typed ones?
Because you stop editing yourself. Typing runs about 36 words a minute and thinking runs faster than that, so you compress on the way out: the tangent goes, the caveat goes, the correction goes. To a model a false start is a boundary and a correction is a standard, so the part you deleted was the part doing the work. Speaking runs about 150 words a minute, so all of it survives the trip. Why dictate prompts instead of using ChatGPT's voice mode?
